Aquatics

The Shepherd University Wellness Center offers aquatic programs such as group, private swimming lessons, swim clinics as well as various certification classes.

Group Swim
Our mission is to teach swimming in a safe, positive and fun atmosphere. We will encourage your child to develop a healthy confidence, self-esteem, and sense of responsibility in and around the water. We hold smaller classes of 1:6 for each class. The instructors for our learn-to-swim program are trained by the American Red Cross and hold WSI certifications.

Private Swim Instruction
Private lessons are available year round. To inquire about lessons stop by the front desk and fill out the registration form. An instructor will contact you to set up the first lesson.
